Ventura Film Festival Presenting World-Class Movies to Ventura County

The Ventura Film Festival has earned recognition as "the most significant film festival ever organized in Ventura County." This remarkable achievement reflects the event's devotion to showcasing international filmmaking to Ventura County while sustaining its commitment to important environmental matters.

The Ventura Film Festival functions as a multi-genre global film festival that promotes recognition of conservation issues such as woodland and marine conservation and recovery, via an annual film festival and associated activities. The Ventura Film Festival launched in 2004 and has screened hundreds of films, generally exceeding 200 films per summer season, and has captured notice from the international cinematic community. This celebration also functioned as the official BluRay premiere by Fox and MGM of the beloved West Side Story, which is generally recognized by critics and fans as the ultimate musical of all time. This esteemed acknowledgment and participation showcases the festival's substantial impact and distinguished reputation within the Hollywood community.
